EXPERIENCE

 

Mr. Wong’s experience emphasizes civil litigation in matters concerning business and government.  He has been involved in litigation involving contract disputes, intellectual property, business torts, and civil-rights law.  Mr. Wong has been appointed as a Special Assistant State’s Attorney.  Prior to joining Fioretti & Lower he worked for a law firm in Champaign Illinois where he practiced in contract law, employment law, family law, estate planning and administration, residential real estate, and criminal law.  In Champaign he represented the University Group Campus Apartment Management, one of the larger University of Illinois campus providers of apartments, in collections and evictions.  He also assisted the firms partner in acting as general counsel to the Urbana Park District.  During law school Mr. Wong clerked for Judge Allen S. Goldberg of the Cook County Circuit Court, Law Division, where he worked on legal issues involving commercial litigation.

 

Mr. Wong is also involved in the Illinois State Bar Association where he has been appointed to the Young Lawyer’s Division and General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Section.
